While trying to purchase an item on Ebay.com with PayPal recently, the PAY NOW link redirected to an unauthorized site. While trying to resolve this issue with PayPal (owned by Ebay), we were told by PayPal tech support that a seller on Ebay could include their own code on a page. Apparently, someone has figured out how to redirect the Ebay PAY NOW with PayPal links so that a phishing attack is possible. In other words, paying with PayPal one EBay is not "safe and secure". Let's hope they address this problem in a verifiable way.
